Self Marketing Can Make or Break a Businesses Success
The Problem
The realtor duo, Troy Mole and River Molyneaux came to us looking to build their brand with a professional and unique look compared to their competitors. For this brand it was important to find a middle ground that suited both partners, their unique approach to real estate, and stay united under the Windermere real estate company.
The Process
For Mole & Molyneaux we worked closely with them to refine what their brand look had to represent. This included researching competitors, clarifying their goals as a growing business, and fleshing out their brand’s story. As well as, outlining other assets they need to help their newly branded business grow like business cards, a website, and flyers.
The Color Palette
The color palette for this duo may not seem like the most unique set of colors for real estate, but the truth is that the colors are doing their job. When making this brand we knew it was important to channel similar colors to their larger company Windermere, to give it the same level of familiarity and professionalism. Though they are not the exact same colors, the influence is the same and this allows the typographic marks to carry the weight of the story telling.
The Logo
The mark we created for Mole & Molyneaux exceeded their expectations, with multiple different lockups for different possible applications. The mainly type logo was made distinctive using two different typefaces with a custom ampersand. This logo has worked to fit in with reality but, standing out amongst their competitors. This established the brand’s type for the business cards and website, as well as the colors for all the assets.
The Solution
Through collaboration and exploration, we uncovered a direction that felt fully aligned with their vision. The final brand identity is both professional and reflects the duo’s approach to reality. After the brand was finished we were able to develop a website for them following the brand colors. As well as, coding home a home search engine directly into the site for potential buyers. We continue to work with Mole & Molyneaux for supportive print materials. It’s been awesome being their go to graphic design shop for all their design needs since.
