Blending Youthful Energy With Professionalism
The Problem
The Lane County 20/30 Club came to us seeking a brand that matched their growth and impact. As they became the Children’s Legacy Foundation Network (CLF), they needed an identity that felt modern, meaningful, and true to their mission of supporting children and strengthening the community.
The Process
In collaboration with Hayward Creative, we worked closely with the CLF board to better understand their goals and mission. Our aim was to develop branding that felt authentic and community-focused, helping clearly communicate their commitment to empowering the next generation. This foundation guided every step of the project.
The Color Palette
This color palette was designed to reflect their compassionate professionalism with a touch of playfulness. The deep blue symbolizes trust and knowledge, while the bright teals, green, and orange reflect their youthful spirit and dedication to the children of Lane County. Together, these colors create a palette that feels established yet friendly and meaningful to the community they serve.
The Meaning Behind The Brand
This logo balances the professionalism of the organization with a playful, creative touch that reflects the children it supports. The interlocking web of white lines and dots signifies the goal of connecting with a community of like-minded individuals. Within the logo is a simplified tree that showcases the beauty and nature of Lane County, which can also be seen as a person jumping in the air.
The colorful mosaic pieces highlight the individuality and diversity of the children supported, while adding a sense of playfulness that reflects the organization’s many fun activities and events for both kids and volunteers. Overall, the logo is wrapped in a bold outer “C” representing the “C” in CLF, accompanied by timeless fonts that reinforce the professionalism they exude. All of these elements come together to create a fresh and engaging brand identity.
The Solution
Through mindful collaboration with Hayward Creative and the CLF board, we were able to create a visual identity and print pieces that truly reflected their devotion to community and engaging energy. This new branding showcases the professionalism of their work as a nonprofit organization, while also reflecting their youthful and inspiring mission of helping the next generation of Lane County to become confident and compassionate leaders.
