The Order of Books is an accordion typographic book form with a slip case. The task was to create an eight page layout with text from “The Order of Books” by Roger Chartier. For each layout, I followed my own grid system using the typeface Meta OT. Each page follows a baseline grid and column system I created and is meant to draw a reader’s eye through each page using a strong composition, concord and contrast with size and weight scale of text.
