This motivational quote is a saying I found that resonates with me and was greatly inspired by my journey moving to O‘ahu to study my passion, graphic design at the University of Hawai‘I at Manoa. The lettering was inspired by my leap of faith and huge turning point in my life and continues to motivate me through life. What other’s believe is impossible, I know is truly just an opinion. Things that others tell me do not set me back, but instead I use as my motivation. Opinions only makes my competitive nature shine. The lettering itself was inspired by my honeymoon in Greece. It is also a representation of my Greek heritage and ancestors who immigrated to America from mainland Greece and the Island of Rhodes. After visiting Greece, I became even more inspired by my Greek heritage and was interested in Greek and Ottoman illuminated manuscripts and the beautiful flourishing they offer. This design is a modern approach to the medieval illuminated manuscripts from Greece during the Medieval Ages.
