This Akana Brothers Construction logo is a brand that I helped design with Patino Graphic Design LLC for a new construction company in Kapolei, HI. My ideas were contributed into this project through the mood board design, to the sketches, edits and final drafts. I was in charge of coming up with 4 of the 7 total initial designs that were presented to our client. My concepts were all focused around a vintage/modern approach that they were after. The design was inspired by vintage badges, while the monogram was created to give it a more modern feel. One of my 4 concepts was chosen to move forward with. Our Patino Graphic Design team made careful edits to that design and worked with them to create correct brand and feel they were after. This identity will eventually be placed onto their construction truck as well as their other marketing material.
